Well, we should probably assume at this point that the inclusion of so many DLC sc.um in the administration was intentional and that they are indeed in control by design.
sufi66 noted that they didn't learn the lesson of 1994 - well, they were the architects of that debacle. At what point has bubba or anyone else from that mess ever confessed to having screwed up? Probably never. It was everybody else's fault. The clinton admin has been apologized for by many people - certainly by those who were in it - and they are associated with "success" inside their bubble.
But outside the bubble, they failed at everything (building on congressional seats, implementing strong economic policy, implementing strong public policy, etc.) except re-electing a Dem as President. Oh, they also created k street and swelled the lobbyist and pundit ranks, but some of us consider that a failure, too.
We'd be crazy to expect different results from the same proved l0.sers. So if the DLC and goldman sachs people are still in the administration in 2011, I'll be working with you to support a primary challenger.
