Elites Rule, Not You: When Bipartisanship Becomes Undemocratic

RJ, the [not at all] funny thing is that "bipartisanship" only existed during Dem majorities.

Repugs don't know what bipartisanship means. They are on a mission (usually from god - so they're ordained by a higher power to be above laws of man). They're going to get what they want (or don't want) and nothing stands in their way. They don't care if they are anti-democratic. They don't bat an eye when they are caught red-handed in a lie. They do their master's bidding effectively.

Dems can easily rise above that simply by not lying & staying true to its principles - and vote on legislation. Anyone in the ranks with the word "Leader" in their title should be immediately recalled from that position if they ever publicly say, "gee golly, we just don't have the votes to get this done," and then fail to hold the vote!

Claiming 'we don't have the votes' is the pinnacle of cowardice. NOT voting on bills reinforces the now Dem's well-proved inability to get anything done. In lame efforts to protect senator A and senator B from having to stand up and be counted, they do more overall harm by slowly committing party suicide. This is especially obvious to non-insiders who clearly see malignant characters like emanuel work feverishly to kill this country by a million paper cuts.

So I disagree to the implication here that "bipartisanship" is skullduggery. It's raw cowardice and incompetence.
