From "Fired Up and Ready to Go" to "Tired Out and Staying Home"

That's HILARIOUS!

Look Sparky, if you want to dart around trying to explain how campaigning on "change" really meant, "uh, we're actually going to do exactly the same sort of stuff as the last 4 presidents - but you should trust US, though... we'll get around to making actual changes some time later," that's up to you.

You need to learn to accept the fact that there are a lot of people like me who aren't accepting that nonsense anymore. I don't care if the politician lying to me is a Dem or a pug - I'm not voting for more poor leadership and more attacks on the poor and middle class.

If that means that the cons get another turn at the wheel, then so be it. Maybe it's going to take a horror like another bush administration to FINALLY bring in a crew of Dems (or 3rd/4th party folks) to get serious.

If you think that what you're getting right now is 100% effort to solve problems, then your bar you've set for progress is at the height of lying on the ground.

So when emanuel said that there were going to be people who'd vote for Obama and he doesn't have to worry about "offending" them - put yourself in front of a mirror and recognize that he's snickering about you.
