Let's not go c.raz.y here. There has been no change in Washington. Obama has clearly decided to play the old game - preferring, apparently, to, in the words of super-hero makers everywhere: "use these powers for 'good'!" Until money is ripped out of the campaign system, transparency exists, and the good-ole-boys (like emanuel and the goldman-sachs crew) are gone, Washington remains unchanged.

Please don't cite stock market and GDP stats as proof that the economy is doing well. You portend to demonstrate the serendipity of the public with that citation. But the quote I pulled explains exactly why we don't believe the economy is doing well.
When unemployment drops and household income at least stays in line with cost of living increases, THEN we can say that the economy is doing well.
