Why Progressives Keep On Losing and the Right Keeps On Winning


I blame the fans. The fans are too negative. That's the problem with your pitching - at least so I'm told by the fleet of O'pologist­s on HuffPo.



You're up there on the mound and those batters are really scary and mean. You've intentiona­lly walked many batters and given up tons of runs because they were very intimidati­ng and you didn't want them in the batter's box yelling at you - it's not dignified to quarrel with your opponents!



If the fans would just close their eyes, appreciate how hard it is to pitch, and cheer more wildly, then I know you could top 200 MPH. You can then gracefully strike some of them out and win that future!



And if you can't, well, at least you weren't as bad as Manny Ramirez. That's all we should ever hope to expect, anyway.



So I say, Yay! Go Stranger!
