Why the Right-Wing Bullies Will Hold The Nation Hostage Again and Again

No, we may not compare this to a broken bone, maab.



We may compare this to a heart attack at the end of 30 years of high-fat eating, smoking, couch-pota­to-ing, and drinking. We need dramatic change in lifestyle or we will die.



You know that the wars were just put on the books. I know that, too. Who else knows? Huh?! Obama quietly does the right thing and what do the republican­s do in response? They announce to the public that the war losses that Obama put on the books are an example of his out of control spending. "The nerve!" you say - me too!



So what do you do in the face of such unabashed unethical spin when you're this President? Nothing. You do nothing about it. Say nothing.



Is it "turning your nose up?" Is it "staying above the fray?" Is it collusion? Is it in comp etence (you're not allowed to spell some things)?



I see no other possible explanatio­n to the inaction. Can you? Assuming you can't, I find no redeeming quality in these. Not fighting for what's right, not standing up to wrong, secretly agreeing with the wrong, or not being able to understand the wrong - these are all indefensib­le fatal flaws for a leader.



Mind you, this is just one example... I use it only because you cited the matter.
